70th Birthday

My family in Nelson, New Zealand will be celebrating a few special occasions this coming Saturday! My Aunt and Uncle’s 50th Wedding Anniversary, my Cousin’s Daughter’s 21st and my Aunt’s 70th Birthday! How cool is that! I wish I could be there to celebrate with them all, but as I cant be there, I wanted them to know that I was thinking of them.

In my last post I shared the Wedding Anniversary card, today I will share with you the card that I have sent for my Aunt Sandra. I think Elements of Style is my favourite set at the moment! And have you caught on that I love Melon Mambo? I hope my Aunt likes her card.

Golden Wedding Anniversary

My Aunt and Uncle in Nelson, New Zealand will celebrate 50 years of married life together next weekend. My cousin is organising a little party for them. As soon as I heard about the celebration, I was so excited for them!

I wanted to keep my card simple, I gold embossed the swirl from Elements of Style, I then ran that piece through the Big Shot with my Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. I quite like the card, I hope John and Sandra do too! :)

Cait is 8

Hi there! Happy New Year to you! I hope you had a lovely Christmas with your loved ones!

On 30 Dec my girl turned 8! I had a friend come from Curves, dressed as a Blue Fairy who did the girls hair and her daughter do the makeup. All the girls and parents loved it!

I just thought Id pop in to show you some of the photos from the day, these are courtesy of my friend Sue, who came along to take photos for me on her SLR.

I cant wait to create the scrapbook pages!

Lovely Lani’s birthday card

Cait’s best friend is having her 5th birthday party today! This is the card I made for her! I am loving Melon Mambo at the mo! It may be my new favourite!

The tulle under the card, is the colour of the Tutu I bought her, as part of her present! I love this kid, like my own, so I wish her a day of happiness, filled with love and lots of fun!

My Christmas Card Making Workshop

A few weeks ago, my friend and Upline Emily, held a Christmas workshop, we made 10 cards, 5 each of 2 designs for $20. Her cards were beautiful! The first 2 pics are of Emily’s 2 designs. I always like to support Emily, when I can.

I decided to follow her lead and have a night of my own.  I was so happy that she came along last night and supported me.

The Rich Razzleberry was CASEd from Splitcoast Stampers, but the other design is an original.
