Stampin with Emily :)

A month or so ago, Emily came to my place to play 🙂 today I went to her’s – thanks so much Emily! We must book a date for next time!

My mission today was to get my ‘Mother’s Day’ cards done! As they have to go to Perth and NZ! I didnt really have any idea what I wanted to do today! So just had a bit of a play. Below please find my 2 cards! My Mums is the Elegant Eggplant and Old Olive and Gav’s Mums is the Regal Rose with the Raspberry Tart (my all time favourite DSP). I loved card 1 until I made card 2, now I LOVE card 2! The Eggplant scallop is embossed with SU Textured Polka Dots, but you cant see it too well in the photo. The scallop is the Scallop Circle from the current mini. I cut the Upsy Daisy White cardstock with Emily’s Circle Scissor’s.

I hope you like! Thanks for stopping by! Please come back soon! Happy stamping! Lisa 🙂

Thankyou Felicity and Stampin’ Up! Australia

Redland Bay State School had a fundraiser last night. Felicity Laritz a fellow demo in Reddy Bay, had phoned SU Aus and asked for some prizes, guess what? They sent over $1000 in product. Felicity had 12 prizes last night, I wasnt able to make it due to my hubby’s work committments, but I put some $ in for raffle tickets. Guess what? I won 3 prizes, $200 worth – so Im feeling a little blown away! For $10 worth of tickets! Thankyou to Mel Morgan for organising the night! Thanks Felicity for phoning SU Aus! And thankyou Stampin’ Up! Australia!

Here is a pic of the prizes, I am so excited! The reason I become a demo was for the scrapbooking, but have not done much in the last 3 years (except when I go away on retreat) but that is going to change! I will share my creations as soon as I get some photos sorted! Thanks for stopping by! Please come back soon! Happy stamping! Lisa 🙂

2 challenges in one!

Stamping 411 and Makeesha Byl’s weekly challenge. I have combined the 2 challenges. I just love the simplicity of the Stamping 411’s layouts! And I love all this weeks colours of Keesh’s challenge! I have not used them altogether before, but I am very happy with how it turned out!

Yesterday was a very solemn day here, with it being ANZAC day. Lest we forget!  So I guess that is why my 1st card was quite plain!

This morning the family has had alot of fun playing tennis, enjoying the beautiful day!  We come home and while the kids have been busy playing, I have added some bling and a faux bow. I far prefer my 2nd card!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Please come back soon. Happy Stamping!

Lisa 🙂

Ive been playing :)

Every month some crafty pals and I get together. We each have a turn hostessing. Some of us arent always able to come, due to commitments, but when we do get together its always fun and we have a good time together.

Tonight it was my turn to be the hostess, so I had a mini launch of the new Autumn/Winter mini catalogue – I know its already been out for a month, but last time/month it was Sale-a-bration.

Here is what we created. So Ive used the gorgeous Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper, with the 1 3/4″ circle punch, and the ever so cute bird punch, and the new in color – Rich Razzleberry – all from the new mini. Dont you just LOVE it! So cute – dont you think?! Julie Gis, who is on my blog roll, uses the Cottage Wall DSP on alot of her current projects – she is the one who made me fall in love with the DSP! Dont you love that! Just more stuff you NEED! LOL! 🙂  A huge thanks to Marelle Taylor for the box dimensions! She is also on my blog roll.

I also showed the girls how to make the gorgeous paper flowers that seem to be EVERYWHERE on the net at the mo, they liked them too! 🙂

Here’s a pic of the girls hard at it, Sal, Angie, Marion, Nat and Lou.

I also showed them how to make your own DSP using Vintage Vogue and they liked that too!

We all had a play with the new Big Shot and Top Note die – that was fun!

We made some cards too, but Ive shared them with you already on here, in previous posts.

It was a busy night, but enjoyable! Im so thankful for my monthly scrapping pals! Thanks girls for coming and see you next month! 🙂

As it is nearly 1am and I have Church in the morning, I better get off here! Thanks for stopping by! Please come back soon! Happy Stamping! Lisa 🙂
