Recently at Caitlin’s Year Level meeting for Year 1, I noticed a heavily pregnant Mum, I didnt get to talk to her that night or introduce myself or find out any details – which for me is highly unusual, if you know me 🙂
Last week, Miss Rebecca asked Ellie, Cait’s friend, how was baby Hannah? I thought – she’s had her! It was a busy week, but at the top of my card making list was Hannah’s card!
Ive had a technique in mind for a month or so, then today, I meet the family while out walking our dogs! How amazing is that!!! Her name is Renee and Hubby’s name is Adam, daughter Ellie is in Cait’s class and I got to meet baby Hannah who is only 2 weeks old! How precious!
Tonight has been the first chance Ive had to create, although Ive been trying to all day! I have used En Francis, Baroque Motifs, Always and the Butterfly Punch (which is still available from the Summer Mini, if you are interested, please contact me). The colours are Pretty in Pink, Close to Cocoa, Regal Rose and Chocolate Chip. I have sponged my edges and raised my butterflies with dimensionals and of course used my 2-way glue pen with some dazzling diamonds 🙂
Thanks for stopping by! Please come back soon 🙂
16/4/2010 – My x Step Sister (its complicated) Ingrid and her partner Tony have just had a baby girl – Harper – how exciting. They live on Waiheke Island, New Zealand and all though I wont be able to meet Harper for a number of years, I am sending all my love to Ingrid, Tony and Jonty! I liked this cherish card so much, I made a few, so will be sending one off to Ingrid today!
30/4/2010 – Met up with Emily today, I made her one of these cards, for a swap we did. She loved this card, but so did one of her customers! Emily sold it! Bit of a compliment I guess! She sold it for $4, I would have sold for $5! But she didnt make it – lol! I did! 🙂
