Stamping 411’s Saturday Sketch Challenge 152

Happy Anniversary from your Stamping 411 Operators

1 year of inspiring others – thanks ladies! You do an awesome job every week! Thankyou!

Ive been wanting time to create since Saturday, but I have only just had a chance 🙂 Here is what Ive created. Thanks for the challenge ladies!

Ive used Stampin’ Up!’s Chocolate Chip for the Baroque Motifs and I inked up En Francis with Versamark, I used my daubers and Close to Cocoa chalk. I couldnt find my Stamp-a-ma-jig to do the flower, I stamped it once with Pretty in Pink ink and it wasnt bold enough for me, so I used my Versamark again and the Pretty in Pink chalk and just kept applying chalk until I was happy with the colour. I think it looks alot like Regal Rose – but it is a well covered Pretty in Pink 🙂  Ive used the large Twill Tape and some Flirty ribbon. If you click on the image you can see the card better.

Thanks for visiting. Happy Stamping! Take care. Lisa 🙂

Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge 151

Saturday Sketch Challenge 151

I LOVE Stamping 411’s simple layouts! They make it so easy to create! I had alot of fun doing this one! Thanks Stamping 411!

This particular card is for the kids music teacher at school – Mrs Lorna Van – she is awesome! It was her birthday 28 May.

Playing at Emily’s

On Friday night, Emily had asked some friends round to play. Hubby was supposed to be home by 7, so I could leave at 7.20, but he didn’t get home till 8.05, so I was tired when I left home. It was nice to meet some of Emily’s friends!

I had to mount my stamps and then I had to borrow some cardstock from Emily – the beauty of having a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator as a friend, if you forget something, more than likely they have it 🙂 lol!

I was inspired my Marelle Taylor’s collection of Fox & Friends. I had intended to make more than 1 card, but it just wasnt happening! By 11.30 I’d done my dash and headed home!

And here is my card 🙂 Very simple! Thanks for stopping by, please come back soon. Happy Stamping! Lisa 🙂

Fox & Friends

To get some inspiration, I went onto Splitcoaststampers – the stampers community, I CASEd (copy and share everything) a card from stamp.n.kari

I want to build up my stock of baby cards, as the Church I go to have a few expectant Mums. So not knowing the sex of the babies, I wanted to make some boy and girl cards, please find below.

Thanks for stopping by! Please come back soon. Happy Stamping. Take care. Lisa 🙂

Stamping 411 Challenge No. 150

I missed the cut off for last weeks challenge 149, as I was sick, I was hoping to make this card early this week, but it hasnt happened. My kids have been sick!  I still have one at home.

When I make cards, I always like to make 2 or 3. This is the first time Ive used my new Fox and Friends stamp set.

Card 1 is the card I made for the challenge. I will give this card to my best friends son Max, who turns 6 on Monday. I wasnt sure I liked the Chocolate Grossgrain, so Ive changed it on Card 2.

Card 2 – Kerri Donsky, a friend on my blog list played along with this weeks challenge. Ive cased her seer sucker background. Thanks for the inspiration Kerri! 🙂

Card 3 is very basic, but I actually like it the best – funny aye!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy Stamping! Lisa 🙂
