You make me happy!

This photo was taken 7 June 09, on our tinny, while on holiday at Yamba, NSW. Caitlin doesnt normally like her photo taken, but she happily let me take this photo and smiled! It just made me so happy! There is a Christian song I love, I wrote the lyrics on the white, not that you can see them very well. The lyrics are:

You make me happy! You make me feel the way you do!! You make me happy! I want to make you happy too! You make me happy, happy! I can not count the ways you have made my life so blessed.  Ayiesha Woods.

I kept the page simple as I wanted the main focus on the gorgeous pic of Cait.

Surf’s Up!

Recently, while Emily was here to scrap, I wanted to get a few pages done. This page isnt exactly how I imagined it, but it got the cute pics of Cait on a page! The photos were taken on 28 Dec 08 – she was nearly 5 years old.

Ive also made one similar for Hamish, but with more pics of Hami.

Maya’s 5th Birthday

I have had these photos printed for over 3 years now! I have been meaning to scrap them for a while now! Maya has just turned 8 recently – so that has prompted me to get these gorgeous, cute photos onto a page! 🙂

Maya is the grand daughter of my lovely neighbour, whom Caitlin has adopted as Nana (as we have no relatives living close by), we consider them as family.

The only set Ive used is Wild West Alphabet – I bought it recently and I LOVE it!

Scrapping at Emily’s

Last night I went to Emily’s home to a scrap class with some of her customers. This is the gorgeous page she designed for us.

As you would have picked up on my blog (by now) is that I LOVE Old Olive! And Baroque Motifs, so I was quite excited to see Old Olive come out and Baroque Motifs! 🙂

This picture is of me and my good school buddy Kirstie, when I was back in NZ in January. We’d not seen each other for about 14 years, but it was like we’d never been apart! 🙂 Good friends remembering good times! Kirstie was very unwell and needed surgery on her very damaged Pancreas, she was in alot of pain, but still got out of her bed to see me.  I felt so honoured! So this is a pic of me and my pal 🙂

A night out

Emily came around during the school holiday’s to scrap one day, she bought her son Joseph and he played with my two, while we scrapped and chatted. It was of course great fun! 🙂

The photos are of a night out at Outback Spectacular on the 4 July 2009 – my 35th birthday. It was a great night out and we all had a great time! I could thoroughly reccommend the show excellent value for money!

This page is EXTREMLY simple!  I would normally matt the photos etc, but I just felt an urgency to get the photos onto paper and in an album.

Some scrapping

Well its been a while! But here I am. I have been very busy! Our house is now on the market and we have had the first prospective buyers through with positive comments. So all my cleaning has paid off! Our first open home was this morning. I am loving the look of my house at the moment! It is clean, de-cluttered and just pretty much lovely!

Hubby is washing our trucks and the kids are both watching a dvd – so guess what! Its scrap time! Hooray! 🙂

I have a few pages to show you, but I will show over a few posts.

The first one is – Pictures of you, pictures of me. The photo was taken on Mother’s Day 08, I won a Mother’s Day competition, so I thought Im going to use the voucher on Mother’s Day.

I really like this layout, it was inspired by a page fellow SU demo and friend Emily Elcome completed at my place on 2 July. The colours are Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White with a strip of Parisian Breeze Speciality Designer Series Paper from the Spring Mini ’09.
