Recently our Stampin’ Up! Manager Nicki cancelled her annual retreat. So Emily a friend and fellow Nix Chix member decided she would host a scrapping day from 9.30am to late, at her house!
I had a house inspection yesterday, which meant I couldnt go that early. So I got there about 11am 🙂 man it was so good! Just to scrap and scrap and scrap! No kids – bliss. 🙂
I left at 11pm – 12 hours – I completed 4 pages but will share 2. The first – Sandpit fun – is using Priceless and my big shot scallop circle and my scallop edge punch. The second – I (Heart) Hearts – I love this set!!!!!
I hope you like! Thanks for visiting! 🙂
Today I phoned Emily to let her know that I would be scrapping all afternoon and evening and if she was free, she was more than welcome to come round and scrap. So, she come tonight! Yay! Its nice to have someone to chat to and bounce ideas off each other!
Siblings and sisters – My husband Gavin with his Sister Tina and my very good friend 🙂 she actually introduced me to Gavin. We arent actually ‘Sisters’, but Sisters in law. Im looking forward to seeing her and hubby and kids in 5 weeks time, they are meeting us in far North Queensland for a weeks holiday (from New Zealand), so it will be awesome! 🙂
I have so many photos that I want to scrap, so yesterday between 1pm and midnight I got to work. Emily my friend and fellow SU demo came at 7 to create.
This page isnt exactly what I imagined, but Im reasonably happy with the end result.
As a SU demo you are able to pre-order selected stamps, papers and punches from new catalogues, so on the 1 August, I ordered some new stuff 🙂
Ive cleaned the house this morning and we’ve had our open home, so I am home to play! The kids are watching a DVD, hubby is putting something on my truck 🙂
So here is my first attempt at “playing”. I like – but what do you think? Please leave a comment if you like (facebook talk) 🙂
My daughter Caitlin and my niece Delta, at Nana and Grandad’s visiting. The girls are very close in age and had not seen each other for 3 years, but you wouldnt know it, they were like 2 peas in a pod, we spent 1 week in January visiting our Nelson, New Zealand relatives and it was such a neat time!
We are seeing Delta and family in 4 weeks time in Port Douglas and just cant wait – it will be an awesome time!
16/8 – Now that Ive posted this, the background looks a tad boring! Will have to put some flowers on somewhere!
A friend, Jo comes round regularly to create. Jo came on Wednesday night to create a card for her cousin who is getting married, she is not able to go to the wedding, so she made this gorgeous card for her.
Jo chose the colours of the cardstock and I chose everything else, she completed the card with my advice. Gorgeous aye?!
Ive not shared this page on my blog, so I thought I would share it with you.
The photo is from a Mother’s Day competition I won in 2008.
