Christmas card

Hi all

I have been creating this morning, I have not replaced my broken camera yet, but may just borrow my neighbours to show you my pages.

I thought I would pop in and show you my Christmas card from last year. It is very simple, but as I was studying last year, I needed something quick and easy! I made 50 of them.

I am not creating Christmas cards for this year. I have a stack of Christmas cards that I have demonstrated at workshops etc, so I will be using those.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope to be back later with my creations.

Take care! Lisa 🙂

Computer problems

Hi there

Thanks for popping by!

I am having some camera issues at the moment – I dont have one – after dropping it 😦

I will be back when I can afford to buy a new one!

On the house front – I am slowly working from one room to the next – so far I have worked on the laundry and Caitlin’s room. Today I am in the main bedroom – I have been instructed by my dear hubby to have it sorted by Tuesday when he returns home from his working away. What a massive day Ive had so far! My dear son is helping me sort thru drawers and he’s helping me decide what to keep, what to throw out and what to give away! I am very thankful for his help!

I will be back – Im just not sure when exactly.

Take care!

Pretty as a Princess

I made this recently for a friends daughter who was turning 4, the photo is not that spectacular, but I thought I would share it anyway.

My hubby is going away for work this weekend, so I will be able to craft! YAY! 🙂 I will be back in a few days with what Ive created.

Thanks for stopping by! Take care.

Some personal news

As some of you may know we have had our house for sale for 4 months. As of yesterday we have sold our family home. Which is awesome! But in saying that I am more than a little apprehensive about the work we have ahead of us! We have 44 days to vacate.

We have been in Brisbane, Australia for 5 1/2 years now and even before moving here, my dear hubby had a dream to travel around Australia.  Now that we have sold we are busy hunting for a caravan. The plan is to go for a year. I will be home schooling Hamish (9) and Caitlin (6). Gavin will work as we go, he is a Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Engineer – so he will be able to find work pretty easily! He’s already lined up work when we get to Melbourne.

Family from Nelson, New Zealand will be here for the next 10 days, which is awesome – it will be lovely to see Al and Sharron – Gavin’s brother and wife. So I will not have much time for stamping/scrapping and once they leave we will be very busy with sorting and packing etc, so in advance I am apologising that I wont be blogging much – sorry!

I will be having a MASSIVE craft sale before we leave, as I have alot of things that I dont want to store. I am happy to say that a friend is going to take a majority of my stuff for her personal use while I am away, it will be difficult for me to say goodbye to all my stuff, but I know she will look after it for me.

Thanks for stopping by! Take care! Lisa 🙂

What colour am I?

A friend has recently invited me to join Soul Scrappers

Shazza over at Soul Scrappers has recently asked the question – What colour am I?

I am a green girl at heart and have been for as long as I can remember! I LOVE green and every shade (or most shades! LOL!) I have a number of items of clothing in my wardrobe that have become real favourites! I thought I would share some with you

A favourite top

My handbag

A skirt

My favourite skirt

A new skirt

One of my favourite photos from our recent holiday

As well as favourite foods – Brocoli, Silverbeet, Kiwifruit, Pistachios and Wrigley’s Electro Gum

She was asking for a page to be done, but I have not got that far yet, something to look forward to I guess 🙂

Rough and tumble

My 2 boys – Gavin and Hamish are always wrestling. Hamish’s love language is touch, so he really loves wrestling with his Dad!

Recently at a park they started, I just happened to have my camera. The photo quality is not that great, but I wanted to capture the fun they were having.

Im quite pleased with the outcome! The letters are new for me they are the Timeless Type Junior Alphabet set 🙂 You the get the Upper case and lower case abc and numbers! How cool is that!?! For the journalling I broke into some new hardware. I showed hubby last night and he quite liked it – which is always good!

Thanks for stopping by! Please come back soon! Happy stamping. Lisa 🙂
