A quick trip to the Mountains.

Hi there

Thanks for popping by! I truly appreciate it! This blog takes a few hours to maintain a week, not that I mind! I love it! But my dear hubby thinks its a waste of time, so I would truly appreciate some comment love to combat the negative comments Gavin makes.

Here are my most recent pics. 2 are from our last day at Sydney, and the rest, well – you can see for yourself – they are the beautiful and stunning Blue Mountains! We were only up there for 2 days, but we tried to make the most of the rushed trip! Definitely a must see! I hope you enjoy!

* Hamish feeding some Rainbow Lorikeets. * The Three Sisters. * Some crazy absailers (sp?!) *Gavin and Hamish, Cait and I got split up, so as Cait and I were looking for the boys, this is a beautiful little waterfall that we found. * Katoomba falls. * Scenic railway. * The Three Sisters close up from Echo Point. *Cait having a bite to eat in this cool carved out rock/cave. * While driving around sightseeing the Blue Mountains we found a bike, the perfect size for Cait, so here it is! Cait is cleaning it. 🙂

Catch you next time! Take care!

Gorgeous Sydney part 2

As promised here I am with more pics from Gorgeous Sydney! 🙂

I love this City and all it has to offer!

Sorry photos a bit jumbled. Not got the time to fix. *ANZAC Bridge. * Sydney Olympic Acquatic Centre. * Fountain at the Olypmic Centre.

We are off to The Blue Mountains in a couple of days for 4 or 5 days, so we wont have power, hence 3 posts within the last couple of days.

Take care, talk soon.

Gorgeous Sydney!

I am a girl in LOVE  with Sydney!! What a City!

Here is just a glimpse of some of what we have done. * Hamish on some aqua fun activities at Narabeen. * Cait and Hamish climbing Barrenjoey Head to see the Lighthouse. * A view of the stunning Palm Beach. Look familiar?! Its the beach that Home and Away is based at.  *Cait body boarding at Narrabeen. * Driving upto Sydney Harbour Bridge. I was so excited! * One day we bused to Manly Wharf, then took the ferry to Circular Quay, on the way this is just one of the many gorgeous vistas! The Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge in the distance.

Hawks Nest and area part 3

Hi there

We are currently in Sydney, having an awesome time! But I still have some photos from Hawks Nest and area for you to view.

* Hamish fishing on the Myall River. * A beautiful sunset. * Cait took this photo of me on the ferry to Nelson Bay, Port Stephens. * The beautiful Nelson Bay, just one of the many bays at Port Stephens. * Funny looking trees where we were staying. * Gavin and Cait having a cuddle. * An aerial painting of Hawks Nest and area.

Thanks for stopping by! Next time will be Sydney pics! 🙂

Take care!

Hawks Nest Part 2

HI there

We are having many issues with battries and charging them, while we are out bush camping!  Today while trying to let the kids watch a dvd, the truck battery died! Poor Gavin is feeling very fraustrated! Once we stop in Melbourne for work we hope to afford some solar panels to help with our power situation!

He has the truck running now so I can post more pics for your viewing pleasure.

* Bennetts Beach at Hawks Nest. *Hamish’s new pet hate is guys showing their butt crack! Well this particular day he was showing his, but he didnt know 🙂 * Miss Cait who doesnt like her photo being  taken, happily posed! I dont know why she is doing  a “Im a little tea pot” stance!? *Our campsite at Myall River. *I caught this Mullet by hand! I saw it swimming in the shallows and thought to myself I can get that! And I jumped out of our tinny, threw it up onto the beach, grabbed a stick and stabbed it through the gills! Gavin couldnt believe it! If he wasnt there he would not have believed me!  * All Hamish has wanted to do while on this trip is to light a fire! He was a happy boy when he could start one here! * Hamish with his just legal Brim, he was proud as punch! * Father and Son having a heart to heart.

Thanks for popping in, I do truly appreciate it! 🙂 I hope you enjoy! Take care! Lisa 🙂

Hello from Hawks Nest

Hi there

We’ve been here for 3 days now, the weather has been very kind! Hot and dry! With a touch of wind for comfort!

Our plans were to leave tomorrow, but we will stay here for another 6 days! It is just gorgeous!

We are on the River front and swim all thru the day!

Here are the latest photos for your viewing pleasure! I hope you enjoy! Please leave me some comment love, to let me know you’ve visited my little blog.

Hamish on the Monument Trail at South West Rocks. Well worth the 1 hour walk, for the beautiful views! 8/1/11

Hamish actually hand feed this Wallibie!

Cait riding the waves at South West Rocks. 9/1/11.

Hamish enjoying Saltwater Creek. Our last full day at South West Rocks.

Gavin and I at the Riverside Tavern at South West Rocks, on our last night there. I would thoroughly reccommend going there for an awesome and well priced feed! Some friends have asked to see our set up, so this is it at The Ruins, Booti Booti National Park, near Forster, NSW.

Another view. Cait at Seven Mile Beach, the beach near our campsite at Booti Booti National Park. We had been warned not to swim at the beach as it was just too dangerous! So Cait the water baby just had to watch the waves and dream of surfing them! 🙂 There were heaps of other beaches nearby!

Gavin and Hamish at nearby Elizabeth Beach, where Cait was stung by Bluebottles and refused to go in the water for the rest of the day! Hamish who was enjoying the surf so much was stung 7 times, but kept going amongst the screams of agony. He was just having way too much fun to stop!

Miss Cait showing off her new togs and Master Hamish at Main Beach Forster, NSW. I could easily move to Forster! What a beautiful place!

I have some more photos, but my laptop battery is getting very low.
Please leave some comment love if you like, as this does take me about 3 hours to download photos, edit photos and put on my blog!
Thanks so much for taking the time to come visit!
Love Lisa 🙂
