In the week, a friend came round to craft, what a treat! 🙂 Ive been working with Janine for a few weeks, cleaning, as she injured her right hand, I met her at Kylie Bertucci’s place a few months ago.
My son Hamish and Janine’s son Ryan are in the same year level at school and they have been playing with each other for the past month or so. They’ll be coming to visit us in Brisbane sometime in the future.
Anyways, getting to the crafty side of this blog. Janine liked a few of my cards, so she CASEd them, while here and I got to work with some new toys – embosslits! 🙂
The first card says Hi, I like it in real life! The colours are not true in the pic, the colours are actually Marina Mist with Early Espresso
Card 2 – Is a Thankyou card, which Ive already showed in an earlier post, but I made it while Janine was here.
Card 3 – Is another Hi card, using a sketch from Stamping 411, Ive shared this one also in an earlier post, but I made it the day Janine was here too! 🙂
Im not getting alot of comment love people! If you like, please leave me a comment. This is my last crafty blog for a few weeks, as we are currently packing to leave Melbourne in the next week or so and travelling upto Brisbane.
Thanks for visiting! Until next time, take care!
Hi there, thanks for stopping by!
Cait has had a difficult transition to her current school. She was bullied on a daily basis for over 3 months! I had several meetings with her Teacher and Deputy Principal and finally about a month ago they got it sorted! Thankfully! At the last meeting I asked for Chaplaincy Support for Cait and they gave it to her immediately – which I am very happy about! So this card is for Diane – Cait’s lovely School Chaplin! I am very happy with it! I hope she will like it!
Thanks for stopping by! Take care! Lisa 🙂
Thanks for stopping by!
I wasnt able to play along last week, but I am happy to say I can this week!
Here is this weeks sketch and my card. My card is very basic, but I like the colours! 🙂
Hi. Thanks for stopping by.
As the kids come to the end of Term 2 in Victoria, as a family we are coming to the end of our time here also.
We were looking at leaving at the end of August when our rental lease ended, but Gavin wants to leave now, he has not enjoyed being in Melbourne. He has been offered a position with his old employer, in Brisbane, so we are hitting the road!
Its a sad time for me in many ways, as I will have to say goodbye to some really good friends that I have made here. Ive enjoyed my time! We’ve seen some beautiful places! And experienced quite alot in such a short time!
These cards are for the kids teachers to say thankyou. Both of the cards are using the same concept, colours and stamps. One is a little more plain than the other, as I did want them a little different from each other. I hope you like them.
To my Melbourne mates, if ever you are planning a trip to Brisbane, please let me know, so we can catch up and do some craft! I hope to see you sometime! To my Brisbane mates, I’ll see you soon!
Thanks for stopping by! Take care! Love Lisa.
Hi there! Thanks for stopping by!
My kids and I travelled to Sunbury to visit my friend Robyn yesterday (Rainbows by Robyn – blog list). Both kids were not well, but as I was sick the week before and postponed, I thought Id better go, even with the kids.
We arrived at 9.30 and after unpacking and having a cuppa we got to work. The day just seemed to fly by! It was 4pm and time to go before I knew it! The kids were very well behaved and watched dvds most of the day! Cait loved meeting Molly, Robyn’s Cat and I have just downloaded 151 photos of Molly! I wonder if she has inherited some of my OCD?!?! 🙂
I wanted to CASE a few of Robyn’s cards while I was there, as I love her work! The top 3 are her cards and the bottom 3 are mine.
Thanks for a very enjoyable day Robyn! Nice to meet Michael and Molly and see your beautiful home! 🙂
I had fun creating these cards with a friend last night, her partner was supposed to be away, so I asked if she wanted some company and she did 🙂 We had tea and stamped until after midnight! Which was great fun! A very enjoyable night! 🙂 Thanks Skye-Lee!
Skye has just become a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and had just received her launch order – so we had lots of new stuff to play with, which was so much fun! Skye’s friend Sam came around after tea and started creating with us too, which was fun, we had a very productive evening!
I am going to miss Skye-Lee when we leave Melbourne! She will have to come visit me in Brisbane!
Card 1 – Tri fold card using Very Vanilla and Baja Breeze DSP, sponged with Chocolate Chip.
Card 2 – The Medallion, Skye’s set, stamped in Rich Razzelberry on Very Vanilla, mounted on RR, then onto Marina Mist card, I have put SU 1/2 pearls on part of the Medallion, you can click on the photo to enlarge.
Card 3 – Is using C is for Cat, Sams set, in Early Espresso on Whisper White, mounted on EE cardstock, very simple but cute I think!
Card 4 – I love this set – it is so cute! I will be buying it for sure! The colour is Pumpkin Pie on Whisper White, mounted on Early Espresso, then onto the PP card.
Last week I shared my card that I sent my cousin in Christchurch. I made another one for my stash, following the same sketch. So here is the sketch and my card, my friend Emily in Brisbane sent me some supplies a few months ago, so I have only used some of the products she sent me 🙂 I hope you like!
Card 2 – I used some of the supplies Emily sent me and some of my own. I didnt have an image in mind, but Im happy with the result.
