Hi there and thanks for stopping by

A client recently supported me to do the Cancer Council Relay for Life. She said at the time, that she would happily give to such a worthy cause, as she recently had a friend die of breast cancer and had another friend going through  treatment. I made her  a card and a bookmark (to go along with her tax receipt) to say thankyou for her donation.

She is on a family trip at the moment in Italy, with lots of time to read etc, so she told me she would take it with her. (Sorry about the poor lighting! It was prettier in real life!)

These are such great little gifts! I will be making some more once we have moved!

Thanks so much for stopping by! It is most appreciated!

Owl love

Hi there and thanks for stopping by!

I am in the process of packing up my house to move this weekend!

I have all my craft stuff in boxes at the mo, so have not created anything new for your viewing pleasure, but I did want to stop by and share a card!

I have a friend whos hubby is going thru cancer treatment at the moment, with months in hospital! Every few weeks or so, I pop a card in their letter box, to let them know that I am thinking of them and praying for them! I go passed their street everyday on my way to Curves, so it acts as a reminder for me, to say a prayer or two!

Ive been saving this card for over a year now, I think now is the time to give it away! I hope they like it, cos I LOVE Owls! 🙂

I’ll pop back soon with more creations! Thanks again for stopping by!

Happy Birthday John

Hi there and thanks for stopping by!

Its a cold and wet weekend here in Brisbane, so I am utilising my time! 🙂

This coming week, I have a client who is turning 74. I will be seeing him on Wednesday, so in an attempt to be organised and not need to dive into my card stash, I have made a card, using Unchartered Territory. The colours are Very Vanilla, Island Indigo and Pool Party, with a touch of Crumb Cake sponging.

My boys like it, Im not sold on it, but it will do! 🙂

Thanks for stopping by!

Edit – add photo – 27 June 2012 – John is a reader, so I made him a book mark, to go along with his card.

A reader’s birthday gift

Hi there and thanks for stopping by.

I have a few birthdays coming up soon. They are readers, so I thought, Id like to give them something small, inexpensive, practical but thoughtful!

Emily came round to play last night, she cut for a workshop and created a couple of beautiful cards! I just had one mission! To make a bookmark!

This is what I come up with! It was Emily’s idea to clear emboss the butterfly, which was just pure genius! 🙂 It looks so pretty!

Its wet here in Brisbane today, my hubby is asleep, as he worked 27 hours straight yesterday 😦 so I will probably make some more bookmarks, while the kids entertain themselves.

Thanks for stopping by! Take care!

Need a reason to smile? June’s Promotion

Hi there and thanks for stopping by!

Here is this months promotion! Im looking at my wishlist, thinking I could spend $125! 🙂

This month I must have a workshop, or some orders, or I will no longer be a demonstrator. Would you like to book a workshop? Or have a catalogue party? Or attend one of mine? Please leave a comment, if you can help me out.

Thanks! 🙂
